Simple "Puppy" Mini Notebook Cover

I always seems to need a little notepad...but I think they just need to be dressed up a little. Whether tucked in your own handbag or given a way, decorating your own notebook makes it more personal and so super cute as a gift. This cover fits the small $1.00 (four or five) packs that you can find at Riteaid or Dollar Tree.

Tall Flowers Card-with a blender pen and Versamark

Yesterday it rained from morning until night. When the grass started to flood it finally stopped.  The crazy rain and wind had me wishing for spring. So here is a fun Spring card using a Hero Arts stamp, Tall Flowers. I used colored pencils with a blender pen to give a water color look and also used some Versamark.  Below is a picture and a tutorial. Hope you are all having a wonderful day!!

Smile - Tri-Shutter Card!

The kids are out of school for a few days for mid winter break. They've headed outside to ride their bikes, so this looks like a good time to show you how I made this tri-shutter card. Picture, template, and tutorial below. =)

Valentine Tin

Merry Monday Everyone! I was thinking of a gift I could put home made treats into. I thought this would be a fun idea for my kids to be able to give to their teachers or special friends at school for Valentine's Day!

Pictures and Tutorial Below: (Watch for ways to use six different adhesives).
Valentine Tin: Place a jumbo cupcake liner inside to protect home made treats.
I think I will fill mine with heart shaped sugar cookies.

Valentine Treat Box

Now that my older kids have out grown the store bought pre-packaged Valentines, I thought I would come up with something that they could give their good friends and not be embarrassed.  =) Yet it is so cute I might just make a few for my friends too!

So here is a sweet Valentine treat box. It holds two Hershey nuggets. Pictures and tutorial below.

Smile at the Rain!

This morning I was thinking of a good friend who is going through a tough time right now…and thought sometimes we need a reminder that our troubles make us stronger and that things are going to get better.
So this “smile at the rain” card is a reminder that if we didn’t have rain the flowers and trees wouldn’t grow …and that eventually the rain stops and the sun comes out. =)

Get Well Soon! Card

It has been such a nice Saturday. I spent time in my studio, did a little cleaning, shopping, and then went out to dinner with my family. I love a low-key and low-stress day. =)

Here is a fun card I made this morning, using the "Just Because Cards" cricut cartridge and the "Just a note" cartridge. I love how adding the light blue just made the card "pop". Picture and tutorial below:
